The rosters are final and are posted!

The player check in time, captain’s meeting, and game start times have been modified, please note check in is from 10:30pm to 11:15pm, followed by the captain’s meeting, and then tournament play.

Also take note that the team rosters are expanded to 14 players, but also note that game duration has as well.  The clocks will run continuously down from 41minutes (first half 41:00 to 21:00, halftime 21:00 to 20:00, and second half from 20:00 to 0:00).  In order to keep the tournament on time, there are no time outs.

Please take some time to read and familiarize yourself with the format and the rules to make the tournament flow and your captain’s job that much easier.

The one thing I really want to ask all your help in doing is to do your best to clear the field (you and your belongings, trash, etc) and progress to the next field quickly.  There is not much time between games and rounds and we need to be done by 8am sharp.

PH Photography (Find them on Facebook) will be there for a while taking some pics of early round action.  However, a few of the other photographer/ultimate players will not be able to play this year.

SOOOO….if you or someone you know is interested in taking some pics of the action, let me know, I would love for them to share the link to their photo stream.

I am working on a few more details, but everything you need to know should be on this site and the CFC Arena site.  If you fail to find your answer here or there, post a comment, I will reply.

Rosters

The rosters are close to being finalized, I am just awaiting confirmation from the last female player to join the tournament.  There will be six teams of 14, made up of 11 men and 3 women per team.

Based on self-rankings, and after sorting and accommodating the baggage requests, the average team’s ranking strength range from 6.47 to 6.53 for the highest team.

I will post rosters either late tomorrow evening or on Wednesday, pending the final players confirmation.  Along with the rosters, I will have your team’s color listed as well, please do your best to wear a jersey/tee shirt in your team’s color on tournament night.

Tournament Update

The tournament will be a six team event.  I am working on the game schedule and modifying it a bit to feature a slightly longer game time as we increased the roster sizes from 12 to 14 and reduced the number of teams in the event.  

Throughout the week I will be posting more details about the tournament here, and send one email to each team after rosters are finalized and colors are drawn for each team.  

 

Registration Closed

The registration has closed. 

Thank you all for registering.  I have a registration or two that I did not have a chance to update on my spreadsheet yet.  The complete player list will be updated here later this afternoon.

Tournament details, rosters, and more to be posted soon.  I have preliminarily sorted teams, baggage requests, and player rankings.  Rosters and team colors will be posted within the next few days.

If your status has changed and you can not play, help out a player or two on the waitlist and let me know by email ultimate@snet.net , once I post the rosters (mid-week), they will be final.

I will be updating the site soon.  As of 10pm, there are 78 confirmed registrations, with less than 2 hours to register, remind your friend so they don’t miss out…

Updates

Keep looking for more updates to the blog regarding the tournament as we get closer to the event.

A “Tournament Night Info” page was created and will be updated with more details soon.

Also, the players registered list will be updated in the morning and evening as the registration deadline approaches.

Players Registered List

The current players registered list will be posted by the end of this weekend.  Currently the tournament is roughly 50% full.  The registration deadline is 11:59pm on March 2nd, 2012.  Stay tuned for updates on registration and tournament details.

 

Registration Deadline

As of this post, the tournament field is slightly above 40% capacity.  If you are planning on playing in this super fun event of all night ultimate, register soon.  Let your friends, team mates, pick up pals, and league cronies know about the registration deadline.  Friends don’t let friends miss tournies!

With less than a month to the tournament I will be working on player registrations updating the list here on the site, posting tourney updates, as well as jersey purchase options. 

If you didn’t get a logo design submitted before the deadline, relax, I have extended it until February 19th.  I will post the logo we will use on the site, if it is yours, I will buy you a jersey! 

As the days pass and the tourney draws closer, stay tuned as the updates will be more frequent.  Looking forward to seeing you all on the turf, all..night..long!
